Cherry Burton Golf Club opened on the 11 September 1993 as a short 9 hole course with small and regular greens. Since that time, the course has undergone major re-structuring under the design and supervision of architect Will Adamson. It is now arguably a challenging 9 hole course of 3420 yds, Par 36 with a wide variety of par 3, par 4 and par 5 holes.
Of particular note are the two par 5 holes. The first is one of the longest par 5s in the East Riding and requires 3 good shots to reach the green, whereas the 6th hole only measures 465yds, but is fraught with obstacles and a diabolically undulating three tier green. Water comes into play on 5 of the 9 holes, so a good supply of balls is recommended!
